Manage Services

GoSchedule provides appointment scheduling service by which it enables to accept online booking, online payment, email reminders and third party integrations. To manage services,

  1. Go to the Services module in the left navigation bar.

  2. By default, the created services are listed based on creation date order.

  3. By choosing the service, You can start editing or create new service from the list.

Create One-on-One Appointment Scheduling Service

One-on-One appointment scheduling helps to accept online appointment scheduling based on business hours availability, customizable open and closing date.

  1. Go to the Services module in the left navigation bar.

  2. Click on the new Service button present in the top-left corner of the window.

  3. Enter the basic information such as Appointment Service name, Appointment service description, Location information, Assigning Staff members.

  4. Additionally, You can enter the appointment service duration, Pricing ( If needed ) and opening date and closing date.

  5. Reschedule policy helps in defining the appointment rescheduling date before the actual appointment date and time.

  6. Cancellation policy helps in defining the appointment cancellation days before the actual appointment date and time.

  7. Additionally, cancellation policy can define the refund amount or percentage which helps to refund the amount when the booking is cancelled. We have initially supported with three types of refund amount such as No Refund, Partial Refund ( based on percentage or exact amount ), Full Refund.

  8. Now, Hit save to create the service. Once done, you can visit the Appointment booking public page to start accepting booking from the customers.

  9. Go to the “View Store” module in the top-left navigation bar. Clicking on that will take to the public page to start accept bookings.

Accept Online Bookings

Now that you’ve created services, You can share the public booking page link with your customers to start booking for the respective services.

  1. Go to the “View Store” module in the top-left navigation bar.

  2. Clicking on that will take to the public page to start accept bookings.

The public appointment page can be customized by visiting Settings section.

Make the Service private or public

In-order to start accepting bookings online, Follow the above steps to create services. Once done, follow the below steps to make the service public.

  1. Go to the Services module in the left navigation bar.

  2. In the service list, Under the “STATUS” column turning the switch on will make the service private and will not be visible in the public appointment page (Store).

  3. To make the service public, turning off the switch will make the public and customers can schedule appointment.

Accepting Online Payments

In order to start accepting payments for the services ( which are marked with pricing ), Integrating with payment gateway can be initiated from the Settings page.

Currently we support Paypal for Global Countries, Razorpay for India. Stripe and Square Payment gateway support is in beta stage

  1. Go to the Settings module in the left navigation bar.

  2. Click on “Payment Gateway” tab.

  3. Now, you can start integrating with the preferred gateway by following the instructions in the integration page.

  4. Once done, When the customer books appointment from the public appointment page, the corresponding payment gateway is shown in the final process to make payments online.

  5. Once the payment is finalized, the appointment booking email reminders and status of the payment is shown in the frontdesk module.
